NOFA-VT Member Organizing Meeting

Our members are clear: “We want to say ‘yes’ to something else.” 

Too many proposals have fallen short of what is required to face our root challenges and to reach our fullest possibilities. We want to say yes to getting and keeping farmers on land and making a decent living, to health care and being able to care for our children and elders, and to keeping everyone in our communities fed. To get there, we need everyone at the table–long-time farmers, farmers seeking land, families, new Vermonters, and eaters–asking the right questions and generating ways forward together. We need to lead the way with a Vermont Farm and Food Bill that starts with us. 

We’re gathering to develop what a Vermont Farm and Food Bill could look like, what it would take, and meaningful change we can make along the way. You have a place at the table, and we need all of us. Come join in.  

Bring some clearly-labeled food to share if you like and it’s easy. If you’re not yet a member of NOFA-VT but interested in our work, we need you too. We’ll invite you to join at the meeting, or you can join online at nofavt.org.
